When I began with MoroSystems as Team Leader, I did not think that one day I would lead a team of twenty-five excellent people and find many good friends among them. Our project portfolio includes payment systems, with the help of which our customers all over the world pay at petrol stations, as well as a tool for marketing process management in eBay. We specialise in Java development. We work to order. Each project is different. Each project has an interesting aspect. We always try to achieve maximum customer satisfaction with our work and results.
FROM TESTER TO TEAM LEADER IN A YEAR, TO DEPARTMENT HEAD IN TWO YEARSMoroSystems builds its achievement on work with our own trainees. We carefully select talented students and graduates whom we engage in teams with senior colleagues to become the best by study and work in the shortest possible time. MoroAcademy, as we call it, has a long tradition in our company. To begin as a tester, become a leader of one’s own team in a year and a department head in two years is possible with us. It all depends on you and how you approach your role. The first ten MoroSystemers now work in managerial positions with the company as heads of departments, senior programmers and architects.
Our customers include foreign companies. That is why we practise English. Our lecturers are native speakers and we have courses directly in a company in a group of maximum of two people. It works. We make around 80 business trips a year and cannot get lost on holiday either.
We share our knowledge and experience in our extensive knowledge base and through workshops we call MoroBreakfast. We enrich each other. And not only in work matters. We like having breakfast over photographs from a holiday or information from a business trip.
PERFECTED DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND TOOLSThe top development teams run Agile, use GIT and strive at Continuous Delivery. We are one of them. We use a development process brought to perfection and based on cooperation with our customers. We run Agile wherever we can.
The fully tuned development environment by Atlassian helps us in our work. Confluence for customer and team cooperation, JIRA for project management and tasking. Our development is GIT and GIT FLOW controlled. Continual integration is based on Bamboo. We can issue and link to a button in JIRA a selected software version for use by QA, UAT or production. We strive at being able to automatically test and release all our applications several times a day.
What is also worth mentioning is that each developer can choose from MacBook, Dell, Windows, Linux, Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ IDEA or another development environment.
